My Client, a major Investment Boutique has a fantastic opportunity for a Chief Information Security Officer, to be based in either their Vancouver or London offices.

As Chief Information Security Officer:
· You will be expected to work with other teams to establish and maintain the enterprise vision, strategy and program to ensure that information assets are adequately protected.
· Key responsibilities will include assisting staff in developing, implementing and maintaining processes across the Firm to reduce information and IT risks and establishing appropriate Information Security and IT Governance policies, procedures and standards.
· Program work streams will include structured risk assessments, information regulatory compliance, developing and delivering awareness and education programs, identify and access management, guiding information security architecture, assisting with internal and external security assessments, logging and monitoring and driving incident response solutions.
· As the security expert within the Global Technology Infrastructure team, you will be expected to bring a world class standard of IT security to the Firm
· You will participate in and lead projects, implement new technologies and formalize supporting policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have excellent client service and relationship management experience with a thorough understanding of IT customer support best practice. You will be comfortable working in a high pressure environment, with steep learning curves, supporting mission critical lines of business.
Certifications across Information Security are essential; CISSP, CISA, CISM, CGEIT, GCFA, GCIH, GCWN, GISP, among others. Any familiarity within Networking and Infrastructure is also highly advantageous; Cisco networking, LAN/WAN network design (including firewall devices), HP Blade and HP EVA SAN infrastructure, Windows 2003/2008 servers, Active Directory, Exchange, VMware and Citrix.
You must have experience partnering with business and IT teams to develop, implement and operationalize a comprehensive Information Security program. A strong academic record with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar is a minimum requirement, with familiarity to Prince II, COBIT and ITIL frameworks. Strong Financial Services experience will be advantageous.
